- It is a complete Meal Replacement Programme. No other food is allowed only drinks of black tea, black coffee, green tea, peppermint tea, but no fruit teas and of course water.
- To reduce any discomfort - aim for 3-4 litres of water a day. Fizzy water is allowed but not flavoured water.
- You should not be hungry on the diet.-If you feel hungry increase your water intake! Hunger is normal for the first 3-4 days until ketosis begins.
- While your body goes into ketosis expect to feel tired and lethargic. This is normal and temporary and will pass, normally by day 4 you are feeling better so DON'T GIVE UP.
- By the end of the week most people feel GREAT. After first week you can exercise as you see fit. Increase fluid intake just before you exercise.
